The ALS Bike Ride & Awareness Expo is a Challenge2ConquerALS event. For more information about Challenge2ConquerALS go to: www.challenge2conquerals.org. The fun day will consist of a moderately easy 12-mile loop Bikle Ride (ride link: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/42652330) heading North up the Platte River Trail from Breckenridge Brewery, turning around at Dartmouth and then back to the brewery. Additional loops can be done to make your ride a 24, 36 or 48 mile ride each time coming back to the brewery. The cycle event will be limited to the first 250 participants. All riders will need to be back to the Brewery by 11am for the lunch and the start of the Expo's events.
In addition to the Bike Ride, Challenge2ConquerALS will be putting on an ALS Awareness Expo featuring the showing of Andrea Lytle Peet's - Go On Be Brave Documentary. Check out the trailer at: www.goonbebravefilm.com, about her amazing accomplishment in 2022 of completing 50 marathons in 50 states on her recumbent bike while suffering from ALS.
Since August is Ice Bucket Challenge Month, we'll be doing a mass IBC ... Every Year Until There Is A Cure.
